Athens is the capital of Greece and the birthplace of the Olympic Games.
Athens, although a modern town, is considered the cradle of western civilization and democracy, is simultaneously charged with history.
The most important goal is historic Acropolis, the hill on which the Parthenon and other important goals are located, and which was passed in 1987 by UNESCO World Heritage List. Among the sights of great importance are:

Acropolis, Athens - Greece

Acropolis, now called "Sacred Rock" of Athens, is perhaps the most important place of all the capital of Greece. In all, place of worship, residential area or Amado, high buildings here, true architectural wonders, exactly reflect the passage of time over Greece. Acropolis was first inhabited in the Neolithic period.
